In more news out of the ‘Spring Shuffle,’ the 16 year old Filipino mid laner Abed has joined as the last member of Team Onyx.
Team Onyx was formed at the start of 2017 by Kanishka 'Sam' 'BuLba' Sosale, Mason 'mason' Venne, Kim 'DuBu' Doo-young and Jimmy 'DeMoN' Ho, and will compete in the NA region. After announcing his departure from Execration on the 30th of December 2017, Abed joined Team Onyx on the 6th of January 2017, but will be replaced by Francis 'FrancisLee' Lee as a stand in while he finalises his move to the United States.

Abed was known for his god-like performances on Meepo, notably going 18-0 against Complexity Gaming at The International 2016, with an insane 1200 XPM and 900 GPM. Given Team Onyx’s depth of talent and experience, and Abed’s prodigy status in the mid lane on Invoker and Meepo, the future looks bright for this new team in the heating up NA region.
