The compLexity Gaming roster problems gets NP straight to Malaysia for ESL One Genting as the NA grand finals qualifiers have been forfeited by coL last night.
NP’s schedule is getting packed with more and more events as they just secured another LAN presence from themselves, this being their third tournament they qualified for. After they formed, in the post The International shuffle, NP came on top in both Boston Major Americas qualifiers and The Summit 6, and now they get an almost free ticket to ESL One Genting 2017 as compLexity had to forfeit the grand finals last night.
Both NP and compLexity received tier one invites at the ESL One Genting NA qualifiers, and both had no problems reaching the grand finals. Unfortunately for coL, their carry, Justin ‘jk’ Rosselle decided to step out, leaving the team in a bit of a stressful situation where they might also lose their spot at The Boston Major.
The announcement of Jk leaving coL’s roster came after the team got defeated by NP in the lower bracket finals of DotaPit Season 5 NA qualifiers and before their scheduled series for the same night in the ESL One Genting qualifiers.
With that being said, NP will join the three directly invited to the LAN event, Wings Gaming, Digital Chaos and Fnatic, plus the rest of the four qualified teams. Up until now, only the European qualifiers have been played, with Virtus Pro claiming the tickets for Genting. Today, November 7, NP has one more qualifier grand final to play, namely the Dota Pit one, against Evil Geniuses. The best of five series is scheduled for 19:00 CET.
