The Europeans from Elements Pro Gaming take the second Americas open qualifiers

In an Americas open qualifiers flooded with European teams for the Boston Major, the two spots for the region's qualifiers are occupied by European squads.

Two days ago, Prodota Gaming set a trend after they registered for the first round of the Americas open qualifiers and took first place. When registrations for the second round began, a lot of European teams followed Prodota’s example and signed up, as a result, when the tournament reached top sixteen, nine teams were European. A few matches later, the semi-finals and finals became a full European battle. Surviving the first round of this European showdown, Kaipi and Elements Pro Gaming advanced to the finals, where Kaipi lost their regional qualifiers spot after a rather one sided last game in a three game series.

Elements Pro Gaming will join Prodota and six other invited teams in the Americas regional qualifiers for the Boston Major. While the European and South East Asia regionals have already began, the Americas group stage will kick off later today at 19:00 CEST, with Elements opening the qualifiers. For this fall’s Major, the closed regional qualifiers will use a best-of-one round robin group stage to choose the top four teams who will play in a double elimination playoffs bracket. The two finalists from the playoffs will qualify for the Boston Major.
