Held on the Perfect World servers, the Boston Major Chinese open qualifiers reached the quarterfinals.
Most of the strong contenders survived the first day. EHOME.X and EHOME.Keen have both reached the final eight. Newbee Young have also made it this far, along with Vici Gaming Potential. However, one of the big favorites to actually win the first Chinese open qualifiers, White Fries Gaming, dropped in the round of 32. Ng 'YamateH' Wei Poong and co. will have another shot in the second tour, starting on 25th of October. The same goes for FTD club B and club A, DUOBAO, and for Tong Fu.
Until then, the teams that made it in the final eight will resume their quest for regional qualifiers tomorrow, but in a much friendlier format as all the remaining rounds are best-of three, including the grand finals. Only the winner will advance into the Chinese regional qualifiers, which are scheduled to commence on the 27th of October.
