The Arena of Stars at World Resort Genting in Malaysia
Open qualifiers for ESL One Genting will be down in three days, put together a team and sign up.
After a resounding success in Manila, ESL One returns to SEA with a LAN event that will be hosted at the Genting Highlands Resort, Malaysia. Scheduled to take place on January 6th-8th, the $250,000 tournament will be held in a holiday resort which looks amazing.
The open qualifiers for ESL One Genting will run between 21st – 22nd October for America, Europe and Southeast Asia players which can register for it in order to have a chance to compete against top teams in the world. Chinese and Malaysian players will also have their own open qualifiers, details for these two regions being expected at a later date.
For the American, European and SEA open qualifiers there are 512 spots/region available to sign up. Up until the round-of-16 all the games will be best-of-one, and from the quarter-finals onward, the series will be upgraded to Bo3.

Europe - October 31st to November 6th
America - October 31st to November 6th
Southeast Asia - November 16th to 21st
The regional main qualifiers for each region will consist of winners of each open qualifiers region plus eight directly invited squads. ESL One will stick with their classic tier invites and will place four of the directly invited teams in the first round of the bracket while tier one invites will begin from the quarter finals. The regional qualifiers bracket will also be played in a single elimination format, Bo3 series with the finals going to a full Bo5. Only the winner will qualify for ESL One Genting LAN finals.
