The World Electronic Sports Games Championship--a Dota 2 tournament featuring a $1.5M purse--opens regional qualifier registration for American teams.
StarLadder and ImbaTV will organize the American Qualifiers. A total of 12 teams will advance to the Regional Qualifiers LAN event, scheduled for October 21-23 in Sao Paolo, Brazil. From these twelve teams, six will make the cut for the WESG Global Grand Finals, to be held December in Shanghai, China. The prize pool for the Regional Qualifiers will only be split among the top eight finishers.

Keep in mind that only a full five-man roster from the same country is eligible to sign up for WESG North and South American Qualifiers.
