The rebirth of a Phoenix, MVP.P retains three players

Fans of Korean Dota will be heartened by MVP.P's new roster as the Korean titan has kept a majority of their TI6 roster.

Weeks of uncertainty has finally given way to clarity as the final line-up of the organization's roster has finally been revealed. Deciding to return after weeks of negotiations with the organization are Sun 'QO' Kim, Dooyoung 'DuBu' Kim and Yongmin 'febby' Kim. The two players joining the returning three are former MVP.hot6ix players, namely, the team's support, Jun-Young 'Reisen' Lee, and core, Taesung 'Velo' Kim. All five of MVP.P's fall roster have registered on the Fall Major registration list.

This iteration of MVP.P's roster debuted to great success at the Mineski Pro Gaming League last week, managing to secure a second place finish after a 0-2 loss to Execration in the grand finals. Due to the replacement of mid/carry player Noah 'MP' Pyo with support player Reisen, MVP.P has readjusted their core player's positions; Reisen was given the support role, and febby - originally a support - will moved to the carry position, thereby displacing QO into the mid role.

Reisen and Velo are two players who have former competitive experience. Of the two, Reisen is more experienced, having played in large international LAN events such as the Dota2 Asian Championships. In contrast, Velo has played in several online qualifiers and has little to no LAN experience.

Proving to be one of the strongest Korean teams to have ever played in professional Dota by finishing 5-6th at The International 6, MVP.P's story nearly came to an end as players started leaving the team one at a time due to difficulties in contract re-negotiations. Things started looking good again when MVP.P's roster, filled with familiar faces, played and did well at the MGPL.
