The fall shuffle continues, and two more veterans fall teamless. Invictus Gaming lose Ferrari_430 after a six-year stint with the team and Maybe confirms rumors, parting ways with LGD.
For six years, Luo 'Ferrari_430' Feichi has been a part of Invictus Gaming, having joined the team prior to the first International in 2011. During his tenure in LGD, Ferrari distinguished himself as one of the best Invoker and Templar Assassin players in the world. Ferrari helped push IG to numerous titles and wins, including spots at all but one of the Internationals, a first place finish at TI2 and a win at ESL One Frankfurt in 2014. The coming days will no doubt reveal more details as to the sudden departure, but speculations have already been raised - from retirement to perhaps replacement by another recent departed: Lu 'Maybe' Yao from LGD.
Despite a statement from LGD's manager confirming that Maybe was slated for another two years on contract with LGD, the DOTA2 Majors registration confirms that Maybe has left LGD. Much like Ferrari, the coming days will no doubt reveal more details as to where Maybe is headed, that is, if he is headed anywhere. For now, we can only wish the two veterans luck in the upcoming season.
