Back to square one, Loda again to rebuild Alliance

Alliance is once again living the post TI experience with three of their members leaving the team. This time around EGM sticks with Loda.

Alliance’s captain Gustav 's4' Magnusson and the team offlaner, Henrik 'AdmiralBulldog' Ahnberg decided to leave their Swedish squad once more to continue their careers elsewhere while for Joakim 'Akke' Akterhall who also left the team, is still uncertain what the future holds for him. In their official announcement, Alliance states that they will make a new post in the following weeks regarding Akke’s plans.  

The three players departing today from Alliance are founder members of the squad, their careers together starting back in 2012 in No Tidehunter which later became Alliance.

Both s4 and AdmiralBuldog previously left the team, in the post TI4 shuffle, s4 going to play with Team Secret back then while Bulldog took a short break, only competing occasionally with Team Tinker during his first exit from Alliance. This time Bulldog’s departure was influenced by s4’s decision of leaving the team, but they will be playing for different teams in the upcoming fall season.

Seeing as s4 is leaving Alliance I felt there is need for change for myself as well. It was fun having our reunion and winning 2 lans together but I will not be in the new Alliance roster. With s4, Akke and AdmiralBulldog leaving, Loda takes again on his shoulders the hard task of rebuilding the roster.

It’s almost a year since we started to get the team back together again, first us 4, then EGM and when finally Kelly returned things really felt like they used to. It’s been an amazing experience playing with these guys again. Traveling/playing/going to the movies :D

We had our up and downs, winning WCA and StarLadder was amazing, fighting our way to TI again indescribable and reaching WB at TI made us feel redeemed. We got back together again to do our thing and we reached for the top, but faltered along the way. It sucks, but now we all need a change.

We had a lot of fun along the way, but all good things has to come to an end. I’ll miss you guys.
