Mushi and Ohaiyo remain the only members of Fnatic

Fnatic announces the departure of MidOne, 343, and Dj from the team after a successful run at the International 6 where they secured fourth place.

Emerging as one of the stronger teams after the International, Fnatic announced today a major change of their roster, with Yeik 'MidOne' Nai Zheng, Adam '343' Shah and Djardel Jicko 'DJ' Mampusti leaving the team.

A year ago, Fnatic looked like yet another unstable South East Asian squad, where inconsistency and frequent roster changes seemed to be a key characteristic of the team. Even though they almost consistently dominated the SEA region, they could not repeat their successes at international platforms and struggled at the Frankfurt Major, being knocked out on the first match of the main event by OG. Following that, Fnatic made the decision of dropping Dominik 'Black^' Reitmeier and picked up MidOne, who was a new and fresh player unlike his German counter-part. Fnatic's new roster proved to be different from what critics speculated them to be. They proved to be a highly consistent team that had constant 5-6th places in the following majors, and was considered to be a force to be reckoned with going into TI. At TI, they were able to knock out Alliance, MVP Phoenix as well as Team Liquid who were considered to be one of the favourites to win the tournament, and secured the 4th place finish, getting knocked out by Digital Chaos who would go on to reach the grand-finals.

I am leaving Fnatic because I want to experience more of the competitive scene and try out new things and new players. I have been with Fnatic for nine long months and I appreciate all the good times we had together in that time. I wish everybody good luck in the upcoming year

Djardel 'DJ' Mampusti

After living overseas for 2 years, I wanted to rest a little bit and spend most of my time in the Philippines. I’m now considering playing locally instead of playing outside my country. To my former team, I want to say thanks for everything. I really learned a lot of things by playing with you guys. Good luck in your future.
I will miss Malaysia, our bootcamp and all the players, our hardworking manager Eric and the never-ending support of the Fnatic organization, especially CGO Patrik. Right now I’m just going to enjoy some rest, stay away from Dota for a little while and eventually join a team here in the Philippines

Playing in this team was an amazing experience, I would like to take a short break as it has been a really tiring year for me. I'd like to say a humongous thank you to Fnatic as well as my teammates, we shall meet again

Eric 'reinn' Khor Wei Soon - Fnatic's Manager

I would like to thank everyone who has been a part of the Fnatic family this season (Black, ADTR, and Net included). With that said, I am sad to see DJ, 343 and MidOne departing from the team
[...] To Dj, MidOne, and 343: It has been a pleasure managing all three of you and I am sure you will find success in your next steps. The Fnatic Dota 2 team will again be rebuilt by the remaining members Mushi and Ohaiyo
