Organized by Enlace Gamer, a website dedicated to the South American eSports community, Latin Cup Summer 2016 kicks off today with the pre-qualifiers stage.
This weekend, July 30-31st, all the teams that signed up for Latin Cup Summer 2016 will fight for the right to advance into the main qualifiers. Starting today at 10:00AM local time, the participants will enter in a pre-qualifier race with only the sole survivor from each country advancing into the main qualifiers.

The 16 teams coming from the pre-qualifiers will be split into four groups of four and will play each other in a BO3 format from 3rd to 10th of September. Top two teams from each group will advance to Playoffs which are scheduled to take place from 11th of September to 23 with the Semifinals on 24th of September and the Grand Finals on 25th. The $2,500 prize pool will be split among the top three finalists as follows:
1st place: $1,500
2nd place: $750
3rd place: $250
