Tired of hunting Pokémons all day? Good, because starting today the Dota player cards swapping madness kicks off. The latest Compendium update brings to the Battle Pass owners plenty of tools to play with and lots of ways to increase your levels.
Player Cards and Fantasy Challenges
All compendium owners woke up this morning with 15 Player Card Packs each containing five player cards that can be used daily to build a Fantasy Team consisting of three cores and two supports. Each player from your Fantasy Team, will score points which will translate in Battle Pass points at the end of the International 6. The better your team scored the more Battle Pass points you’ll get. Each pack of cards contains at least one Silver or Gold card. Those are special cards with RANDOM stat bonuses that will add to your player's fantasy score. So, be careful and make sure you read that card before selecting it into your team. Some might be extremely good, like having camps stack bonus for a support player, some might be awful having wards placed bonus for a mid player.
If you get a Silver or a Golden card with trash bonuses you can choose to recycle it. The Golden ones are worth five Dusts, Silver ones are going for two Dusts while the common ones will bring only one Dust. You can trade afterwards 10 Dusts for a new card pack. Before recycling your duplicates you might want to check with your friends or the Dota 2 community, because yes, the player cards are tradable and marketable!

Bracket and Tournament predictions
The International 6 predictions format is similar to the one we had for each Major and is available only for the Battle Pass owners. There are four big categories : heroes, teams, players and tournament, each with ten options that range from 200 points to 2,500 points for those, who correctly predicted The International 6 winning team. Apart from the “standard” predictions, the newly introduced at the Manila Major in game predictions for each game will also be available and as a new feature, we now have the possibility of predicting the Main Event bracket. Bracket predictions will open Friday, 5th of August, after the group stage has been played and will close just before the Main Event will start, on 8th of August.
The International 6 VR experience
Those, who already got their hand on Vive, will be able to join the Dota VR Theater and get fully immersed into the TI6 game action. By selecting the mini map you will be able to spectate the action straight from the battlefield, traveling aside your favorite player with the controller’s teleport. Of course you can always change the camera angle and have a panoramic view from above the map.
