Taiwan Excellence Gaming Cup 2016: Qualifiers start July 29

India's premier DOTA2 tournament returns again this year with a bigger prize pool and bigger competition to go along with it.

India's Taiwan Excellence Gaming Cup saw great success last year, with a prize pool of $6,000, which eight local teams competed for. In the end, Team Neckbreak took the first place. This year, the event returns boasting an impressive $7,500 prize pool. However, teams will have to fight even harder with the addition of two new sets of qualifiers. 

There will be a total of 12 teams competing in the LAN final, held in Mumbai, India at the Infiniti Mall - Malad in front of a live audience. The 12 teams will be comprised of the top two teams from the six qualifiers held all throughout India. The qualifiers run from the end of July all the way up to the first week of September.

Qualifiers will begin this Friday, July 29 and will be held in the following six cities:

New Delhi: July 29-31
Hyderabad: August 5-7
Mumbai: August 12-14
Bangalore: August 19-21
Chennai: August 26-28
Kolkata: September 2-4

The LAN final will also be livestreamed via Twitch so tune in to see some Indian DOTA at its finest.
