The post TI6 qualifiers shuffles arrived in the SEA competitive scene, and first to shake their roster are Mineski who welcome aboard Michael "ninjaboogie" Ross.
The new addition to Mineski’s team will create a few waves at Rave too, as Michael "ninjaboogie" Ross was their carry player for the past year. Quite a legend among the old guard of the South East Asian scene, ninjaboogie is famous for his versatility and this comes into play right away with the change of his role. From position one at Rave, he will now be playing a support at Mineski. However, for the moment he is just the sixth player in the team, on a substitute position.
Mineski roster:
Ryan Jay 'Bimbo' Qui
Benhur 'Benhur' Lawis
Mark 'Cast' Pilar
Jun 'Bok' Kanehara
Julius 'Julz' De Leon
Michael 'ninjaboogie' Ross (sub)
Jessie Cristy 'JessieVash' Cuyco (coach/sub)
Although he is most known to the new generation of fans as a solid part of Rave, ninjaboogie actually started his Dota 2 career with Mineski back in 2009 when his nick name was Vigass, a tribute for the Russian legend Ivan 'Vigoss' Shinkarev who was regarded as one of the best mid players back in Dota1 (2006-2008), when he was playing for Virtus.Pro
In his early days at Mineski, ninjaboogie was teaming up with the father of the Filipino eSports and the founder of Mineski Gaming Group. Today he returns home after over a year spent at Rave and brief periods of time at Execration, Mineski-X and Banaaaanas, a team he formed in the post TI5 shuffle.
For now, Rave haven’t announced any replacement for their carry and used different stand-ins at Mr Cat Invitational.
