Six teams were eliminated today from the Chinese qualifiers, with just four advancing to the double elimination playoff bracket.
The second day of the Chinese Round Robin groups ended with a stunning best-of-one tiebreaker in Group A. CDEC Gaming and Invictus Gaming Vitality finished tied on five points in second place, and they draw they played out in their direct confrontation meant a tiebreaker was needed in order to decide who would advance.
The tiebreaker itself lasted longer than their previous two encounters together, becoming the fourth longest game in the entire history of professional Dota. 124 minutes and a map full of abandoned Rapiers later, after a total of 77 kills, IG.Vitality emerged victorious and joined EHOME in the Chinese qualifiers from Group A.
In the other group, Newbee finished undefeated with a the highest possible total of of eight points, followed by CDEC Youth with six points.

The playoffs will take place on the 5th and 6th of May, with all matchups being best of three and a best of five Grand Final, at the end of which the winner will join the twelve directly invited teams at the Manila Major.
