Digital Chaos, the US favorites to qualify for Manila Major, have finished day one with no losses.
Digital Chaos still sits second in Group A due to having played fewer games on the first day. The group leader, Friendship, Dedication, Love (FDL) is a surprise, having come from the second round of open qualifiers to take two victories yesterday against Infamous and EverNoVas, securing the top place in group A.
Unfortunately for Infamous, the Peruvian sensation from the Frankfurt Major, their first day was not so successful and they have no chance to recover today. With only two points after six games and only one series left for them, Infamous can grab a maximum of two more points, which will not be enough to overtake Digital Chaos.
Peruvian pride can still be salvaged at the American qualifiers by Not Today who are leading Group B after day one. They only played one series yesterday and took a clean 2-0 victory to secure their first two points. They have three more series ahead of them for day two and the top two spots in group B are still open for everyone.
The second day of the US Round Robin group stage will resume today, May 4th at 19:00 CEST
