Manila Major Qualifiers: SEA day one standings

WarriorsGaming Unity is the runaway leader after day one of the SEA regional qualifiers for Manila Major.

The battle for the regional qualifying spots in anticipation of the main event of Manila Major began today, May 3rd, with the group stages. Of the ten participating teams only the top two from each group will advance to a best of three double elimination bracket, with the first place teams from the round robin facing the second place from the other group.

In the South East Asia groups, the Malaysian team WarriorsGaming.Unity has already played the most games across all regions and managed to accumulate a total of five points, putting them at the top of group B.

Their comfortable lead from today will surely see them confirm their place in the next stage tomorrow. The only team capable of contesting the lead is Mineski, who have three points after today’s matches and two more teams to face tomorrow.

Group A, on the other hand, is far from being decided, and it will provide maximum tension in day two as TnC, Signature.Trust, Execration and Rave are still in the running for the top two places. Although Rave is currently at the bottom of the group with zero points, they still have three matches to play tomorrow, and a total of six possible points to gather.

The last scheduled game for Group A from tomorrow, TnC vs Rave, has the potential to be a decider for these two teams, so make sure you tune in in time to watch a full Pinoy show down.
