The last Dota 2 update unlocked the third treasure for the Winter Pass holders along with all three community rewards.
Over 2.5 million quest across all paths have been completed by the community, which triggered the unlocking of all three set rewards.
Almost two weeks ago, when it was released, the Winter Battle pass already had Treasure I and Treasure II available. For those familiar with Heroes of Newerth, the very rare Rubick set from Treasure II brought back strong memories of the Puppet Master hero.
Today, with the release of the third treasure, most of us went back to our childhood memories when we saw the Death Prophet rare set. But unlike the Rubick set that is quite astonishing, the Death prophet set is bizarre to say the least.
The combination between Morgana and Ursula from Little Mermaid didn’t work so well for the Death Prophet, and of course this can be just a matter of taste but a few Dota 2 personalities have already shared their impression on the social media.
The other six sets included in the Treasure III are for Lone Druid, Venomancer, Templar Assassin, Sven, Nyx Assassin and Mirana. One more treasure is yet to be released for the Winter Battle Pass owners and there is no information on when or what heroes will get a new cosmetic set.
