Having two tiers of invites for the main qualifiers, the teams seeded in the first round of the bracket for both EU and US regions have finished all their games and the competition is already down to eight squads for each region.
Europe
Sixteen teams have started the best of three single elimination bracket for the one spot available to proceed to the main event. Two teams coming from CIS and two European ones have managed to survive the first round. Power Rangers, Hell Raisers, London Conspiracy and Ad Finem will now have to face the tier two invited teams that got seeded straight into the quarter finals.
America
The American competition looks quite tight and it promises intense match-ups even from the second round of the bracket. Infamous, Shazam, Power of Friendship and EnemyGG are the teams who made it further. In the second round both Shanghai Major American qualified squads compLexity and Archon will play for their chance to reach the LAN event of ESL One Manila and also the revamped Digital Chaos will challenge the one spot left for grabs.
ESL One Manila LAN main event is scheduled to take place on April 23th and 24th at Mall of Asia Arena with a total of eight teams attending the event. EHOME and Team Liquid got directly invited to the tournament and six more teams will join them via regional qualifiers.
