Team collaboration during drafting stage has always been quite a challenge in public games and when you add daily hero quests or paths to be completed it becomes nearly impossible.
The newly introduced Winter Battle Pass and his quests have brought even more chaotic pub drafts although creators’ intentions were exactly the opposite. How many of you had the “pleasure” to suddenly play with more than three supports in your team or more than one courier just because hey, “I need to buy three wards , normal and flying courier before game reaches 10 minutes” ?
Before jumping into committing for a quest, please remember you can change your chosen path during the drafting stage and if you feel lost with picks and counters remember there are plenty of drafting tools on the web to help you quickly decide what hero would suit your team better.
Become The Gamer is one of them and it already has a few months running since its release, plus the developers have made a lot of changes based on community suggestions to improve it.
Firstly the Steam login requirement has been removed so no more Steam Guard hustle for us; secondly the heroes can be filtered much better now. Hero suggestion can now be set by lanes, roles or even by meta. Using the Meta Heroes option you will be able to filter only the heroes in the current Dota2 meta with over a 30% pick or ban rate.
Another new feature is the "Influence" and it can be set to none, less, normal or more to help you synergize your picks and counter the enemy team at the same time. BTG also developed a "Collaborate" feature which gives you a link to post in your Dota2 team chat, team members can see your draft in real time as you make changes while also giving your team the ability to look through hero suggestions data on their own.

Become the Gamer is also working on developing an application for Android and iOS users which will come out soon. Until then, a desktop app meant to solve the issue of manual hero entry is close to be released. It'll auto input heroes from your Dota2 match giving you more time to strategize!
