MarsTV Dota 2 Winter League lower brackets round three ends with Evil Geniuses coming on top of LGD.
Game one draft:
Game one starts very slow with only a few trades in the early game. Mid game LGD goes a bit more aggressive with some pushes and after a Rosh they manage to break mid and take the melee rax. Right after EG goes for a counter offensive and manages to take down two and the mid and the bottom ranged rax at about 41min. A second such counter push after a fight mid lets them take the T3 top and melee rax and escape with their lifes. After a wasted ravage EG go for the final push. With four people down LGD call a GG and game one goes to EG.
Game two draft:
Game two starts with first blood going to EG when Invoker is overpowered by Lina and Tusk. The early and mid game continued with trades, with EG coming on top of objectives, but losing one fight at Rosh with a dieback from Fear. Full teamwhipe around rosh pit again for EG. 30min 4man wipe for lgd with aegis down only visage survices. One more teamwhipe around 40min ad GG is called on the EG side.
Game three draft:
Game three starts with Batrider giving first blood to LGD after a prolonged chase. This didn’t stop EG from continuing on the offensive with T2 dives and trades with them coming on top and dominating the early game with 7k gold and xp lead 15min in. By the 20th min they were knocking on the T3 and at 23min LGD had enough and called the GG.
EG will proceede into the final of the lower bracket to take on OG. Winner of that faces EHOME in the grand final BO5.
