With Newbee claiming the last spot available for the MarsTV Dota2 League season 2 LAN event, which is starting in less than two days, all the participating teams are now known.
Last region to decide its representative team from qualifiers was China where Newbee and CDEC Youth have reached the best-of-five grand finals for the one spot left up for grabs. At the end of four games played the much more experienced line-up of NewBee qualified for the main event with a final 3-1 score.

The second season of MarsTV Dota 2 League features a $250,000 prize pool and will be held in the little Chinese “heaven city”, Wuxi from January 26th to 31st. The six days LAN event is split into two stages as follows: firstly all ten participating teams will be split into two round robin groups to decide the seeding for the next stage which is the tournament playoff.
After the group stage, two teams will leave the competition as only the top four from each group will advance into the double elimination playoff bracket.
Tomorrow, January 25th when all the teams are expected to be present in Wuxi, China the two groups will be announced, so stay tuned for new updates.
