Started last year in September, the online ProDota National Cup is close to reach the grand finals.
Without dropping a single game in the upper bracket the team put together to represent Russia at the first edition of ProDota National Cup has managed to reach the grand finals.
The roster for the Russian National team features well known players like Khaled "sQreen" El-Khabbash, Vladimir "yol" Basov and Maxim "TpoH" Vernikov. Team Russia took down Ukraine, Romania and Turkey on their road to the grand finals.
An unexpectedly good performance was registered by Turkey who got up to the semifinals and now they are waiting for their opponent to be decided in the lower bracket finals.
Although none of the Romanian stars; w33, bone7, Ar1se or ComeWithMe have played for Romania, the team signed up for the tournament with top MMR players and survived well in the tournament. Romania will face Yugoslavia (a mixt team of Croatian and Serbian players) Monaday, January 24th at 16:00 CET for a chance to get into the lower bracket finals.
First edition of ProDota National Cup features a $10,000 prize pool and it’s broadcasted via Hitbox in five languages (English, Russian, French, German, Romanian).
