The third direct invite to the MarsTV Dota2 League has been revealed to be Evil Geniuses, they will be taking part in the LAN finals taking place next year.
Three of the five teams that will be directly invited to the MarsTV Dota2 League have been revealed, EG will be joining VG and OG at the LAN finals in January; EG will be representing the American region along with the America qualifiers winner, Complexity. There are currently four TBD teams that will play in the LAN finals, two will be from the Chinese qualifier and two from direct invites - the Chinese qualifiers and remaining direct invite teams are expected to be announced within the next two weeks.
The news of EG's invite was made public by Peter 'PPD' Dager via the Youtube video below; the information was then confirmed by an official MarsTV twitt. In the video containing the announcement, PPD expressed his thoughts on the invite among other things.
