Nanyang Championships SEA qualifiers kicks off with MVP.P vs Mineski

Eight top SEA teams have been invited to the Nanyang Championships SEA qualifiers that will begin today.

The last qualifier for the Nanyang Championships will be starting today; the SEA qualifiers will feature eight top teams from the region competing for a chance to become the second SEA representative at the Nanyang Championships LAN finals that will be held in Singapore later this month. The qualifiers will be kicking off with MVP.Phoenix vs Mineski.

The eight participating teams will be battling it out in a best-of-three double elimination bracket with a best-of-five grand finals. The winner of the grand finals will join the six invited teams and three qualified teams at the Nanyang Championships LAN event.

Among the eight teams invited, MVP.Phoenix, TnC and Mineski have been putting up the best performances recently. Despite experiencing large roster changes, the Korean squad MVP.Phoenix, has managed to keep their spot at the top of the SEA Dota2 scene, taking down strong teams such as TnC (2-1) and giving Fnatic - the SEA scene dominator- a run for their money, nearly winning against them with a 3-2 score.

Relative to the other teams, both Mineski and TnC have also been putting up impressive performances, defeating various teams in this qualifiers. Mineski has won against Team123 3-0 and Signature.Trust 2-1 in recent games whereas TnC has managed to take down the same teams and have recently won against Mineski 2-1.
