The grand finals of the Americas qualifiers for the MLG World Finals will taking place on the 26th of September at 22:00 CEST, the match will be between Digital Chaos and Cloud9, a repeat of the grand finals of the Nanyang Championships.

The past three times DC and Cloud9 met was in the NA qualifiers of the Nanyang Championships and the ESL One NY qualifiers, in the Nanyang Championships, Cloud9 dominated DC, winning 2-0 and 3-0, but in the ESL One qualifiers, Cloud9 was dominated by DC, losing the series 2-0.

As of the writing of this article, the betting odds for the game are 60%-40% in favor of Digital Chaos; the close odds are indicative of the two-way nature of this matchup. Looking at the past games Cloud9 seem to be slightly favored, as they seems to be the more stable team as they have managed to consistently defeat teams like FireDota. Relative to Cloud9, DC look less stable, having a result of a 2-1 win followed by a 1-2 loss and then a 2-0 win against FireDota in the past month.
