Jonathan 'Loda' Berg, one of the pillars of FACEIT Pro League announced the third season of the Western In house league that will feature a LAN event for both Dota 2 and CS:GO at the same time in December /January.
Launched only four months ago FACEIT Pro League is the result of Funni1k’s and Loda collaboration, who believed and put all their energy into a program meant to help the amateurs to get noticed by professional players and organizations.
As the post TI5 shuffle has already shown us, a lot of the newcomers got a chance to prove themselves this season in a professional competitive environment as they got picked by numerous teams.
Now, FACEIT Pro league decided it is time for a new challenge to be passed by In House Leagues and they will break the ice announcing a LAN to be set to take place at the end of Season 3. Fourty players will attend the LAN event and because everyone signs up solo, eight teams will be formed and will be lead by eight directly invited captains. The captains will pick their desired players to form their rosters live on Twitch.
To qualify for FPL, you will need to play in Diamond League and Master League throughout September on FACEIT. The league already started on September 1st and will last till the end of the month.The top 50 players from Master League and the top 10 players from Diamond League will qualify for FPL Qualifications in October, where top 3 players will earn their spot in FPL. Every month, the best performing FPL players in Europe and North America will be able to qualify for FPL LAN.
Details about the LAN venue and format along with the invited captains will be released in the upcoming weeks.
