jerAx steps down from MvP.Hot6.

Jesse 'JerAx' Vainikka from MVP.Hot6 announced that he would be leaving the team and will be going back to Finland.

MVP.Hot6 came together with one goal in mind and that was to win the International, but they were overwhelmed by the other teams and took an early exit in the tournament. Today, Jesse 'JerAx ' Vainikka announced via Twitter that he would be going back to Finland leaving MVP.Hot6.

JerAx was the first European Dota 2 player to play for a Korean team and he was a part of MVP.Hot6 for almost six months. Coming in the first place at SEA qualifiers they were still considered as one of the favourites from the SEA region to go places at the International but the results was otherwise.

His Lina is considered as his signature hero. It was one of the key components for their success in the SEA qualifiers.

Hot6 did manage to beat the defending champions Newbee in game 1 in the best of 2 series where JerAx had a notable play on Lion and played a pivotal role in setting up kills for his team.

The team finished last in the group stage and were put up against a former TI winners IG in their first match at the main event. Hot6 put up a great fight for their survival in the tournament, but sadly it was not enough. Even though they managed to beat their own Sister team MVP.Phoenix with a 3-1final score in the qualifiers, they failed to live up to the Korean hype in Seattle and finished in the 13th-16th position at this year’s International.

Current MvP.Hot6 roster:

KoreaLee 'Forev' Sang-don
KoreaPyo 'MP' No-a
KoreaLee 'SunBhie' Jeong-jae
KoreaLee 'Heen' Seung Gon

With players leaving MVP.Phoenix and Hot6 it is speculated that there might be a merge between the Brother-Sister teams.
