coL marches without any complication against MVP.Phoenix.

The first day of group stage opened with the best of two series between the Wild Ward #2 team, MvP.Phoenix and the US TI5 qualifiers winners, CompLexity. Here’s a step by step analyse of their confrontation.

Game 1

Yet again, we see the appearance of the Great Disabler, Naga Siren by MVP Phoenix followed by that common but solid Tusk pick. In respond to that, compLexity went with Gyrocopter, Winter Wyvern and DK as their mid. To shut down the DK, MVP.Phoenix picked the heavy burst Lina as their mid. For the last pick, both teams went for big ultimate heroes, Enigma for compLexity and Earthshaker for MVP.Phoenix.

A 5 man smoke from MVP secured the 1st blood and a bonus double kill for MVP's support, dazzle. A perfect start for the Korean squad! 3 man ambush on QO at the top rune brought down Lina whom took back her revenge less than a minute later by burning down the fire breather DK. It took less than 8 minutes for compLexity to bring the top tier 1 tower. Just minutes later, it was 2 for 2 tower trade and a 2 for 2 hero trade as a fight broke off at the radiant jungle.

In a minute, MVP lost 4 heroes with no return kills in return even after the echo slam was dunked. On the brighter side, space was created for Naga as she continues to farm her radiance.

Roshan goes to compLexity at the 17th minute as Gyrocopter took the Aegis. Complexity had a very good chance to get a 3 man black hole but denied by the song of the Siren whom just picked her 18 minutes radiance. Having black hole and aegis in their pocket, complexity continued to push mid and getting 2 kills as a bonus. It was a classic rat for Naga and the Nature's Prophet who were having the upper hand.

Despite having a Naga, compLexity still manage to secure more towers for themselves with a phenomenal play from the Nature's Prophet. A dunk, Laguna blade combo brought down the Dragon Knight and MVP when straight for bottom and mid tier 2 towers. With perfect equilibrium of creep wave and also towers it's a very close game with 15 to 16 kills favoring complexity at 36 minute mark. After a black hole being cancelled by Naga's net, a surprise refresher orb from Enigma followed by a black hole which caught and brought down three and the whole MVP’s domination gone down hill. None from MVP.Pheonix was expecting the refresher from the Enigma that gave complexity the megacreeps in return. An intense base race with multiple buybacks multiple kills, multiple songs, multiple BKB and multiple Black Holes brought a huge victory for complexity!

Second game draft begins with the Shadow Fiend pick for QO and the "star" of this patch, Gyro and Tusk picks for CopLexity. MVP.Pheonix replied with Earthshaker and Bara pick in addition to a surprising yet shaky Bloodseeker pick despite CompLexity having tons of disables with Lina, CM and Clockwerk.

Yet again, before creeps start marching, 3 man snowball from tusk melted Bloodseeker as Lina took the 1st blood. A very quiet early game until the blue bull charged for the fire lady bring her down with the help of Disruptor and SF.

A five man rotation to kill a mid Lina and silly mistakes from both Bloodseeker and disruptor gave Clockwerk a solo double kill, a mistake that really caused MVP in many ways. Moon continues to dominate his lane with another solo kill and two clash in dire top jungle both favors complexity showing the power of their team fight presence.

11 minutes into the game and 24 kills from both sides with compLexity leading with 13 shows much aggressions from both sides of the team. More clash at the same exact location in dire jungle with multiple aoe skills landed favored CompLexity with Bloodseeker being the lone survivor for MVP.Phoenix. Despite winning multiple team fights, MVP leads the net worth with Bloodseeker and Shadow Fiend both being in the top 3 surpassing complexity position 1 Gyro. A clash at the 18th minute again left the Bloodseeker as the lone survivor as the burst from compLexity is just too much to be handled by MVP.Pheonix.  Again and again, MVP being punished as MVP continues to do multiple mistakes and phenomenal hooks from Moon really making the initiation from complexity to be just too perfect. Yet, Bloodseeker continues to lead the gold net worth.

Besides, a farmed baiting CM really pays off as complexity continues to get more and more core heroes as offerings. Another clash in bottom rune left yet again Bloodseeker as the lone survivor. Fly's positioning as a sacrificial lamb really buys time for compLexity to set up a perfect execution.

Another top jungle clash destroyed MVP in every single way and a charge gone wrong from March gave Lina a Godlike steak. The last clash was just too one sided as even withfive man Echo slam from the Earthshaker can’t even deal enough damage to bring down a CM and it was full 5 man wipe.

A relatively one sided second match compared to the 1st game. Good Game Well Played!
