Video Games Live to perform at The International 5

As part of the concert series Video Games Live, a live orchestra will be performing music from video games at The International 5.

According to the Video Games Live website and GosuGamers' TI5 ground crew, there will be a performance at Key Arena by Video Games Live on August 3rd at 10:00 local time, the first day of the TI5 main event. It is presumed that this performance will occur at the opening ceremony of the main event.

Video Games Live is a live orchestra performance of music from both new and old video games. In the past, music from games such as Portal and Tetris have been played. The music being played are usually accompanied by video clips of the game, and according to the Video Games Live website, there is a portion of the performance where audience members will be selected to play a game whilst the orchestra plays along to his/her actions.

Looking at the list of past performance, Video Games Live are quite a reputable concert series, having performed at events such as Blizzcon and E3. With the concert's expertise in video game music, it is highly likely that the audience on the 3rd of August will be treated to pieces from the Dota 2 sound track.
