According to a post on Twitter by Empire, Maxim 'Yoky.-' Kim has secured himself a US visa and will be joining the team at their bootcamp.
It seems that the visa curse has been lifted for Empire, following the failure of Maxim 'Yoky.-' Kim to get an US visa in time for MLG Columbus in March and visa issues Empire encountered when applying for the MLG X-games. The earlier case resulted in Empire playing with a stand-in and Empire to pull out of the tournament entirely earlier last month. This visa secures him his place at The International 5 and allows him to join Empire at their bootcamp in Seattle.

The current Dota2 scene is no stranger to visa issues which frequently causes teams problems, this means that the successful application of Yoky's visa TI5 comes as a breath of relief for both Empire and their fans. The relief felt by the fans is reflected by the multiple positive comments made in response on the tweet by Empire.
