paS to play instead of bOne7 at the ESL One seeding matches

Thursday will feature the seeding bracket for ESL One and Cloud9 have announced that bOne7 will not be playing those matches due to surgery. Instead paS will be filling his role temporarily.

According to a tweet by captain Jacky 'EternaLEnVy' Mao earlier today, regular offlaner Armand 'bOne7' Pittner will be unable to play the seeding matches for ESL One on Thursday. This due to him having surgery and will not be able to be on site in the studio. The ESL adminsitration requires all participating players to be present physically for those seeding matches, so Cloud9 will be using a stand-in.

Former mousesports player Pascal 'paS-' Lohmeier will be replacing him, according to Conrad Janzen, the manager of Cloud9. The German replacement is no stranger to some of the Cloud9 players as he played alongside FATA and MiSeRy in Team Dog (later mousesports) last year, who even played at ESL One Frankfurt the same year. PaS is usually a support player but started out as offlane in an earlier constellation of mousesports. He has also been playing in a core position with Goomba Gaming.

The seeding matches is a pre-event bracket, determining the match-ups and bracket placements of the actual event starting on Saturday. BOne7 is only said to miss out on Thursday but is expected to be playing the main event at the arena in Frankfurt.
