FACEIT Pro League will be expanding to North America to replace existing NADota Elite League. ixmike will be heading the project. A prizepool of $7,500 is set for the Season 1 scheduled to start from June.
FACEIT is all set to expand with the launch of the North American edition of FACEIT Pro League. According to a reddit post published by Michael "ixmike88" Ghannam, IXDL will now be merging with FPL-NA with him being incharge. Micheal said in his post that he has accepted the offer for collaboration and that he'll continue his work there, but now with FaceIT's support. He also talked about his pro career, "As of now, I wish to continue focusing on competitive Dota, and leaving aside some of the IXDL commitments."
FPL-NA will have its own unique and rigid structure of hierarchical league system. Players from top tier teams from NA will be participating in the league, in which newcomers can also become eligible. Top 50 players from the Masters division and top 10 players from the Diamond division will be pit against each other from 1st June to 6th June in FPLQ for NA, top three from there will proceed to play in FPL-NA right away. Each month will have its own qualification cycle as well. The first season is set to start from 4th June with a prize pool of $7,500.

Individuals associated with non-american teams have also confirmed their participation; Arteezy, Zai and Mason being some of them.
Faceit was a huge success in Europe with a high level of acceptance within the professional scene, it will be interesting to see if FPL-NA can have the same success, especially in comparison to NEL. When asked about the expectation and outcome, FACEIT Head of Community Management Milos "Mikeylicious" Nedeljkovic replied "the league will be able to offer an easier way into competitive Dota for young, talented and prospective players".
