The International 5 qualifiers kicks off in two days

Starting on the 25th of May and ending on the 1st of June will be the qualifiers for The International 5. Kicking off the qualifiers will be the Chinese one, starting on the 25th at 04 00 CEST.

The International 5's qualifiers will officially start on the 25th of May at 04 00 CEST with HGT vs Tongfu and CDEC vs VG.Potential. The qualifiers will start in the following order, Chinese (25/5), American (25/5), SEA (28/5), European (28/5); two games will be played out at the same time for each qualifier region, this means that two out of the four streams for this event will almost always be consistently used to broadcast games. The other two stream will only usually be used when the qualifiers of two regions are going on simultaneously.

The general starting time for the Asian qualifiers is at 04 00, the usual starting time for the American qualifiers is 19 00 and 12 00 for the European qualifiers. The timings are given in CEST.

Each of the qualifiers are scheduled for four days, with three days dedicated to the group stages, a stage where two groups of teams battle each other in best-of-two's to decide the top two who will advance to the next stage, the four teams remaining proceed to play a double elimination bracket on the fourth day of the qualifier; the first place team receives a TI5 invite and the second place team receives a TI5 wildcard invitation.

Below are the groups for the two regions whose qualifiers will be occurring on the 25th of May, the full schedule for all the qualifiers can be found on the TI5 hub found here.
