Alliance vs Secret
The day begins with an elimination match between Team Secret vs Alliance. Secret who were the one of favourites coming into the tournament now find themselves in a bad position on the second day, after getting upset by the new Malaysian Powerhouse Team MY. The Puppey lead team is definitely the favourites coming in this matchup but this Alliance squad is no joke and have beaten twice them in the past.
The Swedes had a poor start yesterday when they were styled upon by the jet lagged squad of Invictus Gaming, consequently dropping to the Lower Bracket in the first round. This tournament is also very important for them considering TI invites are sent out in the first week of May, a good performance here can give them an edge over other European Teams like NiP and Virtus Pro Polar. This match is the most important for this new Alliance squad with 7ckngmad, it'll be interesting to see if the team is able to rise to the occassion and pull off an upset.
Vici Gaming vs Cloud9
The second match of the day will be this winner's bracket match between these two heavyweights. Vici Gaming are the favourites coming in, the Chinese heavyweights are looking very good with Hao and will be looking to perform well at their first international LAN with him.
On the other hand, Cloud9 is the only western team left in the upper bracket. The team were on fire coming into the tournament, winning 11 of their last 13 matches. The European's had a poor showing at DAC and they'll get a chance to redeem themselves here, if they're able to overcome Vici then they can suddenly become the front runners in this stacked tournament.
Invictus Gaming vs Team Malayisa
The third match of the day will feature two easter heavyweights, from China and Malayisa. The Chinese team met with a few hiccups on their way to Bucharest but they overcame that yesterday with complete focus when they dominated Alliance 2-0. They were hot coming into the tournament and will be looking to continue their run.
Team Malaysia dominated the South East Asian scene since their formation but yesterday they showed that they're perfectly capable of performing against top tier competition when they beat Team Secret, one of the biggest upsets in recent history. The Mushi lead team will look to continue their long going win streak against the Chinese Heavyweights.
