The European pre-qualifier for The Summit 3 is coming to an end, with 4ASC, PR, VP and NiP all only one best of three from moving on to the next qualifier stage.
The games will be kicking off on the 28th of February at 17:00 (CET) with 4 Anchors vs PowerRangers, this will be followed by Virtus Pro vs NiP at 20:30. Judging from past performances, PR and NiP are the favorites in their matchups. In PR's recent game in the Major Allstars qualifiers, PR defeated 4Anchors 2-0, it is also worth noting PR has been putting up a relatively solid performance, being able to take down up and coming CIS team HellRaisers twice recently.
As for NiP, their match history against VP show that they should be able to take the series without too much of a problem, having bested them twice in the last month. This advantage is compounded by the fact that VP's performance has been inconsistent, dropping games to comparatively weaker teams like Moscow 5 but also sometimes taking games off stronger teams like Empire.
