HellRaisers take home the $7000 first prize after besting 4ASC with ease with a score of 3-0. This is HellRaiser's third title in the past two month, after a string of strong performances by this upcoming Russian team.
HellRaisers are on a hot streak after their recent string of strong performances, winning three tournaments in the past six weeks and having a win rate of 83% this month. In this tournament, the joinDOTA Master, Hellraisers won themselves one of the largest sum of money they have ever earned, $7000 after destroying 4 Anchors in the finals with ease.
In this tournament, both Virtus Pros put up a lackluster performance. Virtus Pro.Polar was eliminated in the first round by hehe United, a giant upset considering that people expected this game to be an easy 2-0 stomp for Virtus Pro.Polar. As for for the main team, Virtus Pro, they got eliminated by 4 Anchors in the second round, hence being relegated to the third/fourth place.
The 3-0 results of the finals were unexpected as going into the finals, HellRaisers did not put up results that were as good as 4ASC's in the tournament. Looking at the results of previous games, HellRaisers could not cleanly eliminate both Power Rangers and hehe United, dropping a game in both series; these two teams are arguably weaker than Sneaky Nyx Assasins and Virtus Pro whom 4ASC defeated.
