RedBull rumored to be investor behind 71's EHOME project

Former EHOME team at ESWC

Recent rumors have it that RedBull is one of the investors for the team that 71 is building. In cooperation with the former Team DK coach, RedBull is allegedly looking to purchase the EHOME brand, but the high price might put them off.

A development in the rumors surrounding the reformation of EHOME; what is currently known, is that 71 is in talks with investors about backing his new team and buying the EHOME brand. It is now rumored that RedBull is one of the investors who are considering buying the EHOME brand. According to an anonymous source however, RedBull is put off by the high asking price, as purchasing the brand is set at roughly €250,000.

Regardless of whether or not EHOME will return, the roster itself seems to make much progress as Zyf, a player on LV Gaming, revealed information about Chai 'Mushi' Yee Fung and Khoo 'Ohaiyo' Chong Xin standing in for LV Gaming in D2L. The two Malaysian players as well as two players from LV Gaming were the players 71 said would make up the new team in his interview which revealed his ambitions for building a new EHOME. This provoked huge amounts of speculation on whether this is just a coincidence or the beginnings of a new team. As of yet, none of the speculations have been neither officially denied nor confirmed; there has also been no news on 71 picking up Invasion eSports, something he said he wanted to do along with rebuilding EHOME.
