The last week of September and first week of October will feature the second round of WePlay Season 3 qualifiers. The matches begin tonight with the first two American best-of-ones with compLexity, No Earth Spirit, Not Today and Union Gaming.
The regional qualifiers of WePlay Season 3 are about to conclude and introduce all the challengers for the online season-play phase of the tournament. The second round of the qualifiers will take place in the two following weeks, with two teams from each region finding their way to Class S and two teams being sent to Class A. The matches will resume with two best-of-one battles of the American qualifiers tonight. Sneaky Nyx Assassins will be taking on No Earth Spirit at 20:30 CEST, and compLexity facing Union Gaming at 21:45 CEST. While the GSL group is scheduled to conclude tomorrow, the invited squads will be fighting on October 1st, the same day as the European invited teams. It should be reminded that the offline playoffs of WePlay Season 3 will be held in Kiev, Ukraine in January. The initial $100,000 prize pool is increasing every day through ticket sales, turning WePlay into one of the most prestigious events of the post-TI4 season. The format of the LAN finals has yet to be determined.
