Rave defeats MVP.Hot6 to qualify for i-League finals

After two exciting days fillled with intense matches, Rave is the grand winner of the i-League SEA/Korea qualifier after their victory against MVP.Hot6. Rave will be joining PR, Virtus.Pro, DK, ViCi Gaming and three more Chinese squads in the LAN finals of September.

The i-League SEA/Korea main qualifiers took place this week, with 16 squads fighting for the precious slot in the upcoming LAN finals, taking place from September 4th through 7th in Shanghai, China. The single-elimination bracket with best-of-one matches was quite demanding, as it allows zero mistakes to the teams that want to survive. In the end, the South Korea based squad Rave will be going to Shanghai, after their Grand Final victory against MVP.Hot6.

With the end of the SEA and Western qualifiers, a total of five finalists are known so far. Along with Rave, Virtus.Pro and Power Rangers were able to to dominate their respective groups in the Western qualifiers, while DK and ViCi Gaming secured their spot in the finals through the community poll. The remaining three participants will also be Chinese, and they will be determined by the upcoming Chinese qualifier, expected to take place in the next two weeks. The eight winners will fly to Shanghai and battle over the impressive $192.500 prizepool.
