Power Rangers and Virtus.pro qualify for i-League

After a week of intense games, both Virtus.pro and Power Rangers remain victorious from the two large brackets for the i-League qualifiers. Both teams have now secured a spot for the i-League LAN finals, taking place on Sept 4th - 7th.

The European and American qualifiers for the i-League concluded and see Power Rangers as well as Virtus.pro as the winners. Both teams prevailed in a week full of best-of-ones against mostly unknown teams but when the brackets headed to the top only notable names remained, such as Cleave, Root Gaming, xGame.kz, Team Tinker, Not Today, Union Gaming. PR and VP have now secured themselves a spot in the i-League LAN finals and are the first teams to do so. Prior to the qualifiers, fans could vote for their favorite Chinese teams to attend, which resulted in DK and Vici being picked.

During the qualifiers, it is to note that Virtus.pro had a new line-up consisting of G, jotM, Sedoy and yol. The last positions was filled by either Scandal and BZZ at times. No official statement has been given by Virtus.pro ever since they announced the departure of Ars-Art and IllidanSTR. Power Rangers used Shachlo as their fifth player. 

Today, i-League started their Southeast-Asian and Korean qualifiers. Coverage will be provided by both joinDota and BeyondTheSummit.
