North-American powerhouse Team Liquid bids farewell to yet another player. Peter 'Wayto' Nguyen leaves TL only days after Jimmy 'DeMoN' Ho's departure was official. In a statement on teamliquidpro.com, Ngyuen states that while he does plan on going to school, he has no intentions of retiring anytime soon.

I had a great time playing under Liquid with the rest of my teammates, I wish you all the best of luck in the future you guys are all amazing players. I would like to thank all my fans and friends who have supported me throughout the year I will try my best to get back up there one way or another. For now I plan on going back to school in September and returning when the time comes. Still expect to see me around this year for I do not plan on retiring anytime soon, once again I want to give a big thanks towards my friends, fans, and the rest of the dota community you guys are awesome.

About a year ago, Wayto joined the North-Americans, leaving Dignitas and replacing Korok and assuming the role of the drafter. Following the departure of Fluffnstuff, the team picked up DeMoN and managed to qualify for The International 2014. Dominating the play-ins, Team Liquid had a surprising run on the first day of the group stages. However the team did not manage to match their results on the following days and eventually were eliminated in the third phase.
