-Update- i League has updated their announcement regarding the qualifiers. The American and European qualifiers will be one tournament and the Chinese qualifiers will last four more days. Korean & SEA qualifiers have been added.
The current qualifier schedule is as follows:
Sign-ups: Until August 7th
Fan-voting for seeded teams: 8 - 10 August
American & European Qualifiers: 11 - 17 August
Korea & SEA Qualifiers: 18 - 21 August
Chinese Qualifiers: 22 - 31 August
LAN Finals - 8 Teams: 4 - 7 September
i-League, the first international tournament post-TI4 and organised by ImbaTV, has informed us that they will be introducing qualifiers for the SEA and/or KR regions depending on the number of signups.
ImbaTV has notified us that they will be willing to expand the regional qualifiers from the current 3 regions of Americas, Europe and China to include an additional qualifier for the SEA region if enough teams sign up. It is likely that this additional qualifier will include both SEA and Korean teams if the numbers are suitable.
The signups can be done here, at the i-League website. SEA and Korean teams should register under the China tag, but will be moved to a SEA/KR qualifier if there are enough teams. The sign-up for the qualifiers will last until August 7th, following which there will be a 3 day fan-voting to choose two teams to be directly seeded into the main event. The qualifiers will take place in a single-elimination bracket.

6 teams from the qualifiers will join the 2 fan-seeded teams at the LAN finals to be held in Shanghai, China. The LAN finals will be played from 4 - 7 September, competing for the 100,000RMB (~$16,000USD) prizepool, which will be futher increased via ticket sales. The LAN finals will follow a single elimination format with BO1 for the quarter-finals, BO3 for the semi-finals and BO5 for the Grand Finals.
The prize distribution is as follows:
1st: 50%
2nd: 20%
3rd/4th: 10% each
5-8th: 2.5% each
