Newbee come out on top in tie break, Mouz eliminated

The results of the tiebreaker were Newbee winning two games, LGD winning one and Mouz not managing to take a game. This result puts Newbee through in 9th place in the group with LGD in 10th. Mousesports are eliminated from the tournament after a solid effort with a young team.

After what looked like a sure fire win for Mousesports when they outlasted the LGD early game push, they were forced into a long drawn out game which ran over 70 minutes. Eventually, LGD held their composure and with a few questionable decisions from Mouz, the Chinese team took the first game of the tie breakers.

Newbee then managed to beat LGD after taking an early lead off of a chaotic level one engagement. They returned to their lanes and played out the nearly flawless DotA that Chinese teams are famed for. LGD were held down and at this stage Newbee looked like the best of the tiebreaker teams.

Newbee went on to shred through Mouz, as they looked defeated from about one minute in. Their draft felt uncomfortable and their lanes didn't work out at all. Newbee showed their raw efficiency and that they are still a legitimate threat in the tournament.
