TI4 Day 2 results update - Fnatic, Cloud9, Newbee undefeated

The first day of the Phase II groupstage is halfway over, and 12 matches have already been played. So far, Fnatic, Cloud9 and Newbee are undefeated, taking down their two opponents in convincing fashion. On the other hand, Arrow and LGD lost both their matches, and they currently sit at the bottom of the leaderboard.

It has been an action packed second day for The International 4, with the beginning of the newly introduced 16-team groupstage. Four triplets of matches have been played so far, and we managed to get a first taste of what's coming in the most prestigious tournament of the year.

The first pleasant surprise was Fnatic, a team that recently reclaimed their old carry player Adrian 'Era' Kryeziu after a large period of absence. Their performance in their games against the Chinese favorites Team DK and the Ukrainians Natus Vincere was most impressive, and they are definitely looking strong so far. The same counts for Newbee, with two very convincing performances against their compatriots iG and LGD. Cloud9's beginning was very positive as well, with two victories against EG and Arrow. It should also be noted that NaVi.US returned to victories with a bang, as they took down Team Liquid with a dominant 12-0. Last but not least, both Arrow and LGD Gaming need to get their minds straight in the upcoming games, as they made a sloppy start and lost both their opening matches.
