DT.NGC officially disbands

Following their disqualification from The International 4 Chinese qualifiers, Dream Time (or simply DT.NGC) has officially disbanded. Their failure to reach Seattle caused internal turmoil in the squad, which ultimately forced the disbandment a month later.

Today is a sad day for the fans of the Chinese squad Dream Time, as it was just announced that the club has disbanded. DT.NGC was formed back in 2011, but the team achieved worldwide recognition through their successful 2013 squad. After their encouraging results in several Chinese competitions like Sina Supernova Cup #3, they attracted Valve's attention - resulting in their invitation to the TI4 Chinese qualifiers.

In the qualifiers, DT' showed a very solid performance and qualified for the playoffs. They managed to take down TongFu, but they were utterly defeated by CIS in the Loser Bracket finals, finishing third and losing their spot in the Grand Final and the ticket to Seattle. After their elimination, DT finished their WPC-ACE commitments and took part in CDEC New Star, VGames and GEST tournaments without much success. It was evident from their performance that they had lost motivation, something they admitted themselves today through their statement.

DT's weibo announcement

It is with great regret that I announce the disbandment of DT club. Since our inception, everyone has been very diligent, and we achieved some results as well. However, after the qualifiers, there were some issues within the team. We tried to resolve these problems, but regretfully, we could not completely deal with them, and have decided to disband. We would like to thank our sponsor, thanks for all you've done for us. Thanks to our fans who have supported us. Thanks to our dear team members - you have put in effort and strived hard, this is not your end - hopefully, it is your new beginning. Here's to everyone, may you continue fighting for your dreams and eventually stand on that podium which bears an endless amount of dreams.

We have no information about the future plans of the five players. Knowing that they are experienced very talented, one can assume that they will try their luck in competitive DotA2 after The International 4.
