Empire protects their Hitbox KotH title against Na'Vi.US

Through a convincing 3-0 victory against Na'Vi.US, Empire defended their throne in the fifth installment of Bounty Hunter King of the Hill series. The reward of their victory is $1000, and the chance to fight once again against another challenger.

Yet another version of the HitBox Bounty Hunter KotH cup belongs to the past, and Empire is currently sitting comfortably on the throne after their second consecutive victory in the competition. After Mousesports, it was Na'Vi.US's turn to become a victim of the Russians, who will now defend their title in the next version of the cup. The reward for their feat is $1000 as usual.

Na'Vi deployed a very interesting first-game strategy with Zeus, Razor and Faceless Void as their cores, and they managed to win the laning stage quite convincingly. Nevertheless, they were unable to capitalize on their early advantage, and the Io-Tiny combination turned more and more powerful by the minute, eventually overwhelming the Americans.

The second battle was significantly easier for Empire, as they abused Na'Vi's lack of reliable crowd control and applied immense pressure through their Skywrath Mage selection. With Sneyking's Lycan being behind in terms of gold and experience, securing the victory proved an easy task for the beefy Gyrocopter and Faceless Void on Empire's side.

The former-NAR squad decided not to repeat their drafting mistake in the third game and selected a line-up with a big arsenal of stuns, and disables. However, Empire was one step ahead once again, and the early Blink Daggers from Resolut1on's Brewmaster and Mag's Batrider brought the demise of Na'Vi's strategy. The immense amount of damage coming out of the Russians' hero roster was just too much for the Americans, resulting in their third and final defeat of the series.

No information is available about Empire's opponent or the date of the sixth version of KotH, but it is safe to assume that it will take place after The International 4. As always, live broadcasting of the games is provided by HitboxTV.
