Fnatic's star carry Era unable to attend The Summit

Fnatic's star carry player Adrian 'Era' Kryeziu will be the second player to miss out on attending The Summit this weekend following EG's Clinton 'Fear' Loomis, who reportedly pulled out of the event due to an injury.

Shortly after our report on EG's Clinton 'Fear' Loomis being unable to attend The Summit due to his prolonged arm injury, we have received news that Fnatic's carry player, Adrian 'Era' Kryeziu will not attend the event this weekend at BeyondTheSummit's studio in Los Angeles.

GosuGamers reached out to Fnatic's General Manager, Danijel 'StreeT' Remus for further clarification on the issue, to which he humbly confirms that Era will indeed not participate at The Summit this weekend. Upon further inquiry, StreeT doesn't mention the exact reason pertaining to Era's inability on attending the event and requests us to kindly wait for an official statement from Fnatic.

Replacing the dynamic carry will be Sweden's 16 year old Steve 'Excalibur' Ye, who recently stood in for Fnatic against the former RoX.KiS team. He also ranks third on Europe's Dota 2 leaderboard with 6900 points to his name. According to StreeT, Excalibur will be flying out along with the Fnatic boys to Los Angeles from their London office.

The official reason for Era's inability on attending the event will be revealed in a short while on Fnatic's official website. In the meantime, the nature of Excalibur's in-game role is yet to be known.
