First Departure disbands, "The forces of evil are too strong"

In an interview with team captain Lubby, First Departure has announced that they will be disbanding their Dota 2 team. Citing internal conflict amidst a mediocre showing at The International 4 qualifiers, the team was unable to resolve tensions among its players and will be parting ways with the organization.

Singaporean team First Departure recently competed in The International 4 SEA qualifiers, where they were eliminated without reaching the playoff stage. Today, First Departure has announced that they will be disbanding their Dota 2 team. In a brief interview with team captain Lubby, he stated that the team was experiencing inner turmoil and was unable to continue.

Lubby stated that it had less to do with performance and more with the team unable to resolve differences between the players. When asked if he believed the TI4 qualifiers were hurting teams rather than helping, he stated this:

Nope. its like a relationship. these are obstacles just for you to go through, its either you go through the loss together and become stronger, or just fall out with one another and walk your own paths. If your team is not that bonded together, these kind of disbandment will just happen eventually.

First Departure was one of the finest Singaporean teams last year, representing their country in various competitions such as GMPGL SEA and ACG. Disappointing performances led to the team's downfall eventually, and soon all but one player left for the now reformed Scythe.

In his shoutout to his friends and family, Lubby proclaimed that currently "the forces of evil are too strong, we can't control and maintain it. Whether First Departure will attempt to return to the Dota 2 scene with a new roster is in question.
