ESL One Asia: VG, Arrow, LGD and Titan proceed to semi-finals

The Asian qualifiers for ESL One is nearing its end as we have Vici Gaming, Arrow Gaming, LGD and Titan move on to the semi-finals in an attempt to punch their ticket to the main event at Frankfurt, Germany.

Round 1 of the ESL One Asian qualifiers is over and we have four teams namely, Vici Gaming, Arrow Gaming, LGD and Titan in contention for the last spot for the biggest gaming event till date in Europe. Both LGD and Titan went up against Korean teams in today's matches and emerged victorious.

Chinese juggernaut, LGD, went up against Poker Face whilst the Malaysian powerhouse, Titan, seemingly had better opponents in MVP.Phoenix. Yao and company seemed to have no trouble in dealing with Poker Face as they eased to victory in straight two games, while Titan had to sweat it out against MVP.Phoenix until the last moment and took away the series with a score of 2:1.

On the other end, VG and Arrow will battle out against each other in the other semi-final match as they both managed to overcome Invasion and Scythe Gaming in yesterday's matches, respectively. As anticipated, VG eliminated the boys from Invasion in straight games and Arrow had to duke it out to a full three game series.

The semis will begin at 11.00 CEST tomorrow with the first game being held between Vici Gaming and Arrow Gaming. ESL One Asian qualifiers is the last chance these four teams have, as only one spot remains in contention and the winning team will make their trip all the way to Germany.
